Mia then leaves the bridge to rest, abukabar still stands there, and Michael stabs in Mia's spot.

Vul'cak asks Tea a question, and she replies, "Yes, you do, and I hope it feels like Vulcan." She directs him to his quarters, and then she returns to her station.
In his quarters, Vul'cak lies in bed.

Mia wakes up from a dream and notices her room was rearranged.
"This is why I don't sleep....... I hate putting things back."
She then used her powers to put things back where they were, she gets up and has vulcan jumbo mollusk for breakfast. Mia then relaxes at her desk for awhile

Vul'cak wakes up with a start, crying out, "S'pock, no!! NOOOOOO!!!!" Then he tells Spot, "I will not trouble the admiral. I hope Captain Eric gets the distress call from Vulcan, as my son is visiting my wife. I hope he remembers the stories I had been telling him." Spot nuzzles his face and he strokes her.
"Meow!" Spot responds, comforting him. For a time, he takes comfort in Spot.

Mia could feel Vul'cak's emotions, she gets up from her desk to go and visit. She stands outside his door and 'rings the door bell'

Vul'cak did not hear the doorbell, as he deals with the sudden wave of emotions coming from his son, and Spot clawed his stomach, as his son had told her where the heart is. Feeling the pain, he jerked from Spot. Then she meows at him, and he answers the door. He finds Mia outside, and says, "The sudden emotions reached you. Am I correct, Admiral? Come in."

"the parasitic anomaly that attacked betazed is on Vulcan, they aren't affected by the UV rays."

"Captain Shmi of Suvuk welcomes any assistance you can provide." says the Vulcan Communication officer of the all-Vulcan ship.
Vul'cak replies, "They ARE affected by UV rays. There must be more than one ship with parasite-infested passengers. One landed in Betazoid, and one must have landed on Vulcan. The Betazoid parasites are dead as a door nail." Then he looks at the viewscreen, and sees a familiar face.
"S'pock! Are you all right?" Vul'cak asks.
On the Vulcan ship, S'pock replies, "No, father. The parasite is inside me now. It is in mother, my wife, and son too."

S'pock seems to be listening to something, then he said, "The captain of the Williamatt has requested that my family board his ship for use of the bio-lab." He disappeared from the Bridge.
On the Gunslinger, Vul'cak says, "Captain Shmi of Suvuk, Williamatt is a Constitution class starship. My affected family members will be blind for a time, but they will be cured."
S'pock returns to the Bridge with a young Vulcan. He says, "Father, meet my son, Keras. Does he look familiar? Does he look anything like your brother?"
"Yes, he does, S'pock." Vul'cak replies.

Eirelav comes into the bridge again, and holding out the jar, he asks, "How do I kill it? S'pock knows this parasite.......he is here. S'pock, do you know how to kill it? My team is stumped."
S'pock looks at his father, then he said, "Ultraviolet light will kill it. These parasites will be dead as door nails when they are exposed to the high end spectrum. Captain Shmi, may my family beam aboard the Constitution starship? It is logical they go first. No, Keras, I have to stay on the bridge as I talk to my father. Go with the doctor." His son replies, "Yes, father. It is logical." Then the boy leaves with the doctor.
Vul'cak says, "Do what is necessary, Captain Michael. You are my captain, and I trust the captain will do the right thing."

Vul'cak leaves the Bridge, saying, "I am not waiting around to see what she can do. Forgive me, Captain Michael. I am beaming to the Williamatt to see my family." Then he goes to the Transporter Room, and energised.
He materialized onto the Williamatt, and the transporter chief says, "The family are in the bio-lab. Do you need assistance getting there?" Vul'cak replies, "No need. I will find my way to the bio-lab, thank you."
As he enters the bio-lab, something broke and its content lands on Vul'cak's back.
Elsewhere.......Brother cried out, "BROTHERRRR! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Mia snaps out of her trance
"Flood the Williamatt with UV."
The bridge crew rush to flood the Williamatt with the UV.
"Mia whats going on."
"I hear them, well heard them, they feed off of an enzyme that anyone telepathic can produce, one latched on Vul'cak, I felt it."
Micheal nods, he knew his sister was going to be just fine

S'pock removes the parasite from his father's back, and a nurse quickly contains it. Then the doctor brings him to the chamber, and he sits facing the light source and gets the full blast. He closes his eyes.
Vul'cak was immobilized with pain, and was unconscious. His wife takes him to Sickbay, and puts him onto a biobed. She tells him, "Hang in there, Vul'cak. Remember your brother."
The doctor comes into Sickbay, and operates on him, removes a small strand of tissue. Then he closes the wound, and informs Vul'cak's wife, "Your son is now blind, just like the First Officer. But I am glad the officer was able to see again, and it will be the same for your son. How did you know about these parasites?" She replies, "On stardate 3287.2, Vul'cak's brother was attacked by it. The doctor tried everything and discovered uv rays were the answer. Vul'cak witnessed it all."

Some time later.......
The female Vulcan turns and looks at a direction. She hears a telepathic voice in her mind, and she goes to the biobed. The doctor asks, "Is it another Vulcan?" He tells security, and three members were Vulcans. The Vulcans restrained Vul'cak.
"Admiral........Mia is a human." Vul'cak tells his wife. He responds to Mia telepathically, "I.......can hear you. I remember........you." Aloud, he says, "No! No!" Then he sits up, and his wife says, "Vul'cak. Remember your brother! Stop or you will get the hypo." The Vulcans restrained him, and he was unable to shake them. He hoarsely says, "No, I won't." His wife nods, "The parasite has commanded you to do something."
Unable to carry out the command, he feels the pain.

Vul'cak repeats, "Pain is a thing of the mind. The mind can be controlled. Pain is a thing of the mind. The mind can be controlled."
"Bio-lab to Sickbay. The boy and his parents are free of the parasites, and the parasites are given the uv rays treatment. They will be coming to Sickbay to rest." A nurse says.
Vul'cak struggles against security, but he was no match for their combined might.
