"Captain, we have reached the Vulcan system, and are orbiting Vulcan." S'chn says, over the comm. Eric goes to the comm in the bio-lab, and orders, "Take us to Mount Seleya. We will not use the transporter. Inform the Vulcans we need a stretcher asap, and permission to land in the temple area."
S'chn replies, "Yes, sir."
Ten minutes later, permission was granted for the Williamatt to land. The Williamatt settles on the landing pad and six priests appeared at the edge of the landing pad, bearing a stretcher. A shuttle appeared, and lands near the priests. Then the door opens to reveal Decker, S'chn, Urbz, Spock, and S'pock. The priests went in and lifted Vul'cak onto the stretcher, before they go into the temple.
Inside, a priestess asks, "Kal-tor kal-if-fah. S'pock, ...child of Vul'cak, ...child of Keras, the body of your father breathes still. What is your wish?" S'pock replies, "I ask for fal-tor-pan."

The priestess asks, "Who is the Keeper of the katra?"
Urbz replies, "I am ...Urbz, ...Deefores K., ...Son of Leonard."
The priestess replies, "Urbz, son of Leonard, since thou art human, we cannot expect thee to understand fully what S'pock has requested. Vul'cak's body lives. ...With your approval, we shall use all our powers to return to his body that which you possess. But Urbz, ...you must now be warned! The danger to thyself is as grave as the danger to Vul'cak. ...You must make the choice."
Urbz replies, "I choose the danger." Then he and Vul'cak lie side by side with the Priestess between them. She says, "Ben, wal, navu." as she places her fingers on each forehead.
Carter says to his away team, "There is nothing more to be done with the captain. We must leave him, and patrol the border until we hear from Vul'cak. The Admiral says Vul'cak may know the location of the Borgs." He and his team were transported back to their ship. Then they started patrolling the border, within transmission range of the Gunslinger.

Urbz says, "I'm all right, Eric."
Decker asks, "What about Vul'cak?"
Spock replies, "Only time will answer. ...Decker. I thank you. What you have done is..."
Decker replies, "It is the least I could do."

Vul'cak says, "My son says you have been my brother. ...You were there for me."
Spock replies, "You were there for me."
Vul'cak asks, "Why would you do this?"
Spock replies, "Because the needs of the one ...outweigh the needs of the many."
Vul'cak replies, "I have been ...and ever shall be ...your brother."
Spock replies, "Yes! Yes, Vul'cak."
Vul'cak replies, "Spock, ...your name is Spock."
Spock nods, "Yes."

After the Fal-tor-pan, Spock takes Vul'cak to the test chamber. He says, "It is time to test your memory and knowledge. See if you have lost any knowledge."
(Test Chamber]
Vul'cak says, "Computer. Start testing. ...T'plana-Hath, matron of Vulcan philosophy." The test started, and at first, he faltered. His knowledge was weighed heavily by the loss of his will and his insanity. Spock stays close to him, and is joined occasionally by his son. But most of the time he is accompanied by the Ambassador. As he got to the halfway point, he responded faster than he did before.
Finally, the computer asks, "How do you feel?" Vul'cak replies, "I feel ready to face the Borgs." Then the computer stops speaking, and Spock approaches him. The Ambassador says, "If you are ready to face the Borgs, it feels right to contact your captain. She may be worried about you. I can sense her. Do you remember the location of the Borg homeworld?" Vul'cak looks at Spock, and says, "Yes. I do. I must return to Admiral Mia since you and I both know the location of the Borg homeworld." Spock says, "I will go with Captain Picard and his crew. This includes your son."
In the Williamatt, Vul'cak contacted Mia, "Admiral, can you hear me? I know the location of the Borg homeworld. Are you in the Vulcan system? Captain Decker has agreed to meet you at the edge."

Mia took a much relieved sigh "I hear you, its good to hear you. we are on the border of transmission with Vulcan, any further and we won't be." In the back of Mia's mind she knew she would get the revenge she somewhat yearned for.

Decker says, "I will take you within transportation range of the Gunslinger, Vul'cak. Then I will bring your son and the Ambassador to Captain Picard."
Fifteen minutes later, S'chn says, "Within range of the Gunslinger, Captain." Spock says, "Remember to keep the connection open between us. I will tell Captain Picard to meet the Gunslinger halfway to the Borg homeworld. Don't get captured by the Borgs again." He salutes Vul'cak, who replies, "I will not let them. Son, you know Mia is connected to you. We will see each other again very soon......on the Borg Homeworld." S'pock nods, "Yes, Father." saluting his father. Jim smiles, "I have no doubts about your bravery, Vul'cak. I am delighted to have you as my Officer."
Half an hour after leaving Vulcan, Vul'cak was back on the Gunslinger. Spot greets him warmly, and he picks her up. She rubs her head against his neck.

Vul'cak greets the transporter operators, and one of them said, "You had better return to the Bridge or Admiral Mia will tear this ship apart, as she did with the Borg ship. If you need to be safe from Borgs, you will be safe with her. No Borg can even get near her without being destroyed. I sensed her feelings. I am a Betazoid." Vul'cak agrees, and he leaves the Transporter Room. Upon reaching the Bridge, Tea smiles, "Welcome back, Vul'cak." Vul'cak thanks Tea, and calls Mia.

S'pock says, "I heard Mitchell used his powers to throw my father, after a failed nerve-pinch. Is this true, Captain Kirk?" The Ambassador replies, "All our missions are known to this young Vulcan, Jim. He was sad after hearing about your death, and thought he would never meet you." Jim smiles, "Yes, S'pock. It is true Mitchell threw your father, and I was sadden to see your father in a grave condition. After that incident, I promised Vul'cak that I will listen to his brother."

"It is faint, but it is at the edge of my telepathy. Jim, McCoy, S'pock, and I are on the Enterprise, a Defiant-class starship. Do you want to know why the Borgs did not assimilate me? Do you remember V'ger, the former Voyager 6? It was actually upgraded by a division of the Borg Collective, which explains why the Borg did not assimilate me, as they assumed the trace of V'ger in my mind from their meld was an actual link to the Collective. I am glad I listened to you, and investigate the source." Spock telepathically tells Vul'cak.
On the Gunslinger, Vul'cak telepathically replies, "I will look out for the Defiant-class starship. Do not forget about William Decker's sacrifice to save us from the threat. He merged with his beloved, and is part of the V'ger. At the edge of your senses. The admiral is ready to unleash her skills on the Borgs."

On the temporary Enterprise, Worf says, "Captain, there is a ship approaching fast on the sensors. It is an Odyssey class starship. Should I raise red alert?" "Negative. It is Vul'cak's ship, the Gunslinger. He has been transferred to that ship, and is helping his new captain to get to the location of the Borg homeworld." Spock replies. Picard says, "Hail the ship, Data." Data replies, "Yes, sir." He makes contact with the Gunslinger, and when it was done, he told the captain, "Transmission made, Captain." Picard says, "Enterprise to Gunslinger. This is Captain Picard. I understand you are also going to the location of the Borg Homeworld with Vul'cak's help. Do you have something against the Borgs?"
Tea says, "Captain, we are being hailed by the Enterprise. Putting Captain Picard's hail on audio. "Enterprise to Gunslinger. This is Captain Picard. I understand you are also going to the location of the Borg Homeworld with Vul'cak's help. Do you have something against the Borgs?"

"I am able to sense Romulans and Borgs ahead. In two point five hours. Are you ready to defend the Federation, son?" Vul'cak says, to the Enterprise.
"I can sense them too, Father. Yes I am ready to defend the Federation and Starfleet." S'pock replies.
Vul'cak replies, "Borg Collective must be neutralized. We must neutralize the Romulans and Borgs fleet around the planet with a wave, dampening the Borg's communication and making them unable to maintain their link to the Collective, effectively neutralizing them. Before my will was snapped, my melder reveals that the allied fleet will be surrounding the planet. Did you catch that, Captain Picard?"
Picard replies, "I did, Vul'cak. I wish you are still serving me, but I understand you need to move on."

Mia says standing up from her chair "Admiral that's suicide you can't jus................." "We have to work fast, brother. Since you are within range of my ship, I will leave the helm to the helmsman." Vul'cak telepathically tells Spock.
2 hours later, he leaves the helm to the helmsman. Then he tells Michael, "Hold her until her friend is back, Captain." He leaves the ship.
On the other ship, his presence prompts Picard, "Send the wave." He watches as the fleet were swept away by the wave, cutting off their link. His son says, "I will go with you, captain." Jean nods, "Come, Jim. We are going down." Minutes later, S'pock beams down with the two captains.

Mia having to wait did not make her happy, but she complied for the sole reason that once she started she couldn't stop and she would be putting S'pock and others in the face of danger. So in the meantime she had some fun, she began to slowly destroy the borg and romulan ship that were disabled.

Data asks, "What is happening? The neutralized Romulans and the Borg fleet are being destroyed. What is destroying them?"
Vul'cak replies, "It is my new captain' sister. She wishes to tear the core of the Alliance apart, and she completely destroyed a Borg ship single-handedly, I was told by the Transporter Operator."
Spock says, "She must be a human telepath."
Down on the planet, S'pock says, "Captain, use your memories when you were Locutus to track down the Borg central node. If we deactivate it, it will serve the Borg Collective. Every Borg ship will be separate from every other ship, and what can defeat one will always work a second time. However, the result will cause a cataclysmic explosion that will kill whoever operates the node." Picard looks at Jim, and Jim laughs, "I can see he is Vul'cak's son. Looking very much like my Spock, and acting very much like him too! You must be proud of him, Picard."
Picard nods, "Oh I am. After his failure to protect me, he realizes how fragile life could be, and thus made him more willing to take risks like myself. Yes, S'pock. I will use my memories when I was Locutus to track down the Borg Central node."
