Mia could tell that vul'cak and Spock were not on the borg ship, but out of spite anyway she unleashed the fury of what she could do, she opened a black hole that tore the borg ship to nothing, Mia stole a borg escape pod and now sought out Gunslinger, she used Michael's mind as a way point

Having Jim back, Spock turns his attention to Vul'cak. He merges his mind with Vul'cak's and read the thoughts there. Shaking his head, he says, "There has been a force mind-meld between Vul'cak and the melder. His mind has been probed, and his will has been broken. He was not given the choice to help the enemy willingly. There is one way to bring him back, but is he strong enough for the Vulcan mind fusion?"
Bones replies, "We have no choice." S'pock replies, "Please help my father, Ambassador. I know you love him as much as you love her."

Mia eventually reached ds9, the stations sensors picked up the borg vessel and readied to fire upon no one at the time knew that Mia was aboard, she knew she had to be quick our risk being destroyed. When Mia brought the ship closer to ds9 she teleported off intime before the vessel was destroyed. Bad thing was, the station picked up a borg transporter signature, not a human one.

S'pock sensed Mia, and telepathically sends a message to the control room, "Do not fire! She is not an enemy."
In the control room, the receiver orders, "Do not fire! Anyone who disobeys my order will be put in the brig. Do I make myself clear?" "Yes!"
Spock nods, and says, "Pull him down and hold him, so that I can use the Vulcan mind fusion." He understood who S'pock was referring to.
James, Spirk and Riker pulled Vul'cak down. Then Spock places his hands on Vul'cak's face and starts the procedure.
Spock says, "I am Spock. You are Vul'cak. Our minds are moving closer. Closer, closer, closer, Vul'cak. Closer."

Mia stayed away for the time being in fear of the residual effect of her destructive power, she did seek vul'cak and discovered that he wasn't in the best of shape she didn't push any further, Mia felt that she had done enough damage for one day

Spock says, "Vul'cak. You begin to feel a strange euphoria. Your body floats."
Vul'cak replies, "Valeries! No! Valeries! Yes, I begin to feel it."
Spock says, "Open your mind. We move together. Our minds sharing the same thoughts. Our minds are one. What is our name? Who are we?"

Mia stayed out of sight for awhile, but her mind wandered, she stayed near Vul'cak and group but she would not intervene

But we grew so tired, our minds so blank, so open, that any thought he placed there became our thoughts. Our minds so empty like a sponge, needing thoughts. Empty. Loneliness. So lovely to be sitting there empty, wanting any word from him. Love. He will not give us love. He broke our wills. I am Korik! I am!"

Mia could hear Vul'cak's distress so she stood at the edge of his broken mind and began to hum the lullaby that she had sung in his mind earlier

Vul'cak says, "Destroy Picard."
Spock replies, "Destroy Picard."
Vul'cak says, "Starfleet's only defense against the Borgs."
Spock replies, "Defence."
Vul'cak says, "So empty." Then he looks at his son's company, and Spock breaks the link. Bones asks, "What is it?" Spock replies, "His mind. He is an extremely dynamic individual." Vul'cak replies, "It worked, brother. Something is known to us now."

"Starfleet has more then one defense against the borg........ Me...." Mia says from her hiding place as she pulls the music out of Vul'cak's mind, she felt confident enough to be shown, a lot of people were very surprised on where she came from and how she mostly came out of nowhere.

Jim looks at S'pock, and asks, "Is this your son, Vul'cak? He looks exactly like Spock, except for the uniform." Vul'cak replies, "Yes. He is the one I showed you in my memory. His name.....would you like to ask him yourself, Jim?"
Jim asks, "What is your name?" S'pock replies, "I am S'pock, son of Vul'cak, son of Keras. Captain Kirk, I am honoured to meet you. My father has talked so much about you. He told me he risked his life to save yours from Mitchell. I have my own story to tell. Ambassador, what did you learn?"
Spock says, "Your father and I know the location of the Borg home world. I need to travel on your ship, S'pock. My brother needs to be blinded for a while."
"Hurry, brother. I cannot hold out much longer." Vul'cak says, as he suddenly lunges at Jim.

From a distance Mia saw the lunge, and using her psychic ability, caught vul'cak only inches away from contact.
"nice to know I didn't annihilate you. I think you and I have some mind work to do." Mia said getting closer to the commotion.

Spock caught Vul'cak and orders S'pock, "Contact your ship, S'pock. We need to get your father there." Jim asks, "Is it the........?" Spock replies, "Yes Jim. It is what you suspect. The neural parasite has attacked him again. Those Romulans apparently had one and after his will was broken, they released it on him."
"S'chn here. We are docked at Deep Space Nine, Ambassador." A voice responds, on the comm.
Spock restrains Vul'cak, and tells Spirk, "Help me restrain him. He cannot be allowed to obey this suspected order. S'chn, beam us immediately to your ship." Spirk helps Spock to restrain Vul'cak.
S'pock restrains his father again.
"Feeding your co-ordinates to the transporter room on the double. Stand by." S'chn says on the comm.
S'pock suddenly finds himself materialising onto a transporter pad, with his father, Spock, and Kirk. Urb was there to greet them, and Vul'cak mind-melds him, saying, "Remember." Then they went to the bio-lab, and Vul'cak went into the chamber.
Vul'cak sits facing the light source and gets the full blast. Then Urbz says, "Completed." He opens the chamber, and Vul'cak stands.
S'pock, "Father, are you all right?"
Vul'cak replies, "The creature within me is gone. I am free of it and the pain."

"romulans and borg, thus just keeps getting better and better. I need to work on my mental discipline." Mia says ordering transport to gunslinger, most everyone was surprised that Mia was there and not on the borg ship

Spock goes to the chamber door, and asks, "How do you feel, brother?" Vul'cak staggers a few steps and falls onto Spock. He starts gasping for breath. Spock catches Vul'cak and, sitting down, carefully places him on his lap. He asks, "Was I too late to save you, brother? You had held out against the pain in an earlier attack, and I knew you were weakened by the parasite. I do not know how long you had held out against the pain." Spock cradles Vul'cak, and cries, "Brother, you had always been there for me. I needed you. Now you need me."

Mia had no idea what was going on with vul'cak and she didn't want to over extend her mind any further without sufficient rest, she figures if she was needed for anything they would notify her.

Spock asks, "What are you saying, Vul'cak?" Vul'cak groans, and says, "I had been insane too long, while my will was broken, and my nervous system is very weak. I am suffering Sam's fa..........." Then he dies. Spock sobs, "Nooooooooooo! Brother! BROTHER!" Jim kneels by Spock, and says, "Mount Seleya. We must go there before we face the Borgs."
Urbz contacts his captain, "Captain, we have to return to Vulcan. I am carrying a katra, and it must be returned to its rightful owner. I need to go to Mount Seleya. Vul'cak is dead."
Decker, on comm, replies, "Since Deep Space Nine and Vulcan are in Alpha Quadrant, I will allow this. Decker out."

"Nothing received yet sir." a crewmen responded
"*sigh* alright, We'll stay in transmission range but we'll continue to patrol." Mia orders, Gunslinger then heads back to the neutral zone

The Williamatt leaves Deep Space Nine and heads to Vulcan. Decker came to the bio-lab, and starts to offer his condolences, but Jim cuts him off, "Only his body was in death, Captain." Spock sobs, "You promised my father that you would bring me back. Now I will bring you back.... brother." He turns to S'pock, "I promise you I will bring your father back. Your father means everything to me. I trusted him to protect me."
Tea says, "The USS Kiwi reports no life on the shattered hulk of the USS Farragut. The Farragut shows signs of Romulan weaponry marks, and Kiwi is requesting aid to find the Borgs, before other Federation ships are destroyed."

"I've already asked that, they wish to stay aboard, the only one not with the crew was the captain." a crewman replied
"What happened to them?" Mia asks
"He stayed behind to make sure everyone else got off." The crewman replied
"Ah..... say no more." Mia says

S'pock kneels beside Spock, and replies, "I know. He risked everything to get you back, even his honour."
"It was all I could do to stay at your side." A voice says. S'pock looks around, and asks, "Father?"
Spock replies, "His katra is active. My father spoke to him and it was honour, which made him risk everything to get me back from Genesis."
"The crew just left. Carter to Gunslinger." Captain Carter says, on the Farragut.
"Gunslinger, Tea here."
Carter replies, "We are in Auxiliary Control, and we have found only one. Unfortunately, he is unconscious. No pulse. Nothing. He is dead. Blackie reports that the ship was attacked by a Romulan disruptor."

"We know, we were here when it happened, the only thing we could do at the time was to get everyone off before the Romulan and Borgs finished the job. We almost succeeded. Any news on Vul'cak?" Mia replies putting her hand on one of the helm chairs somewhat eager to hear the news

Carter replies, "My chief engineer, Kircher, reports no reports of Borgs on the ship's computer, only Romulans. If you were there, and don't get me wrong Admiral, I would like to know how many of the survivors are on aboard your ship? I respect your abilities. Did you say Vul'cak? Vul'cak who was advisor to Ambassador Spock? Vul'cak of the Enterprise? I have no news of him. Sorry, Admiral."

"The Romulans are working with the Borg, how exactly i would rather not know. We rescued over a thousand people, you can't explain captain Kirk coming back from the dead can you. Yeah, well now Vul'cak is a member of my crew....... but thank you anyway." Mia replies somewhat depressed
((Since the Nebula class starships are about the same size as Galaxy class ships, I'm assuming that their crew size is also the same.))

Carter was shocked, and it shows in his tone, "The Captain Kirk? The famous captain of the Enterprise?? Vul'cak's captain. I have heard of him in history books. Yes I cannot explain how he can come back from the dead. Romulans are not capable, as far as I know. Borgs. It must be the Borgs."

"what other James T. Kirk do you know. When I tried to shield vul'cak's mind I saw the borg, and the romulans working right there. I had to withdraw I'm fear of destroying his mind worse then it was, after I failed I went over to the borg ship and uh tore it up into oblivion after I realized they weren't over there." Mia says

S'pock asks, "We have met each other for only two times, but I have been hearing stories of the many years missions. I would like to know your feelings for my father. He has shown me the depth of his love for you. I would like to know yours." The Ambassador did not say anything for a while, and S'pock starts to say, "It is illogical. I am........ sorry." But finally Spock replies, "It is all right, S'pock. Your father has been encouraging me to be more human, after my mother died. I will share my memories with you."
Then Spock mind-melds S'pock, and the younger Vulcan's face is suffused with emotion as he realizes the depth of Spock's love for his father.
Carter admits he does not know any other James T.Kirk, then he says, "Romulans were bad enough, and the Borgs captured many of my family members and friends. With them in alliance, well, all I can say this combination cannot get any worse. Do you have any idea where the location of the Borg homeworld is? I have no Vulcans on aboard to use their telepathic ability."
