Sometime later Mia decides to go to get quarters to relax, there was nothing unusual or Michael would have contacted her by now. She dozed off in her chair

Feeling hungry, Vul'cak gets up and goes to the mess hall. He gets something to eat, and starts eating.

Michael walks into the mess hall, he gets his usual since trying anything new was out of question for him, he notices vul'cak and doors with him

Vul'cak replies, "I wonder if I should have taken the control padd myself. Even if I could recreate the scene, but what is done is done." Then he unconsciously touches his left shoulder. The parasite had brought the pain back to the surface, and he grimaces silently.

Vul'cak replies, "Yes. I watched my longest-serving captain die before my eyes and I could not save him. Soran shot the bridge, to prevent my two captains from getting the control padd. The bridge broke in half, and the padd was retrieved. It couldn't bear my captain's weight any longer, and it collapses. The steel bars pierced my shoulder and back." His tears flowed down involuntarily.

Vul'cak made his way to the holodeck and recreate a scene.
"Stay here, sir. I will get it." Vul'cak says. He climbs down, only to slide to the center where it is broken. He gets up and leaps to the other side. Seconds later, he got the padd. Then the bridge gave way, and fell to the ground below, with him beneath it. The steel 'pierced' his right ribcage.
Then the hologram programe ended.
"Oh, brother..........no hologram could ever replace it. What is done is done." Vul'cak telepathically tells his brother.
"You cannot change it, brother, even if you can use the slingshot." Brother telepathically comforts Vul'cak.

Vul'cak surfaces, and rests on the hologram Bird of Prey. Then he climbs up the rungs, and then let himself fall into the water.
