Vul'cak climbs back onto the wing, and climbs the rungs to the top. Then the hologram programme ended, and he retires to his quarters cheerfully. In his quarters, he tells Spot, "That was good. Returning the whales to the 23rd century Earth was good. Creating that scene was.......fun."

Spot meows, and Vul'cak pets her. Then he goes to the bridge, and Tea tells him, "Keras is sorry, Vul'cak. He knocks the jar, breaking it, and releasing the parasite. It was the pain." He reaches out for his wife.
"Would you tell Keras I have forgiven him?" He telepathically requests his wife.
"I will, Vul'cak. I will tell him." His wife telepathically replies.

"Me too, but I find it best to move on with the past." Mia says
"I agree with you, though I know there are some that would disapprove."
"Let them, I've got final say anyway and no its not a power trip."
"I know, being telepathic isn't easy."
"Some Betazeds have it easy, I don't, I can hear everything, if I let my mind wonder enough."
"I have felt you floating around."
"I try not to be so noticeable, but every now and then someone takes notice."
They both smiled and this conversation was not spoken by words

Tea smiles, "You are welcome, Vul'cak." She continues to listen, but there was nothing on the communication from anyone. She and her colleagues continue to monitor.

Vul'cak telepathically scans the system and he could not sense anything ahead of the ship at a great interstellar distance. But he could sense his son's happiness. He knew his son is overjoyed to be home after many years. His son had not been home since the wedding.

Vul'cak calls Sickbay, "Doctor, I need you to assist me perform a surgery on a torpedo. I need these items at the torpedo launcher. Meet me there with those items." He informs the doctor what were needed, and Tea directed him to the torpedo launch deck.

Vul'cak reaches the torpedo launcher, and meets up with the medical officer who is carrying a toolbox. He mind-melds the officer and then they begin surgery on the torpedo.
On the Klingon ship, the captain orders, "evasion action. vulqangan onboard Haq Duj cha 'ej qul 'oH changi! qul DI' cha legh."

The torpedo was ready, and Vul'cak launched it.
The torpedo was on its way, when it was spotted. The Klingons fired on it, as well as taking an evasive action.

Vul'cak is instantly stricken with pain, and grimaces. He clutches his head. Suddenly, he becomes violent and goes to the helm and forces a helmsman out of the seat.
"Brother! Don't be another Riley." Brother telepathically says.
(Psionic resonator...... amplified telepathic energy, specifically any violent thoughts and emotions.)

Vul'cak trusts his brother completely, having spent 63 earth years with him. He struggles not to touch the controls, and when Mia mind-melds him, he became enraged.
"Brother, I know it is a struggle to obey a new commanding officer. It was for us too. Now........obey your new commander." Brother orders telepathically.
"Psionic resonator........on the Bird of Prey." Vul'cak says, still not himself but allowing her into his mind.

"Valeris! No! Do not break my will. Nooooooo!" Vul'cak says, feeling dizzy and disoriented. But he became less violent and regaining control of his emotions. He gasps as Mia mind-melds him.
The first torpedo found its target, and it was a direct hit, forcing the Bird of Prey to be decloaked.
"Transporter Room to Bridge. We have a guest onboard, and he is asking for his brother."
Tea replies, "Acknowledged. Vul'cak is in the middle of a mind-meld, and has stopped attempting to take over the ship. But he seems he is not himself. Bring the guest to the Bridge."
