"Do not force yourself on the other personnel. Okay? If you do this on another telepath, they may not survive. This time, my pain is longer than one hundred and three years ago since it was very close." Vul'cak scolds his son.
"Yes, father. I will remember this incident." S'pock was very sad.

Mia exited sickbay and returned to her quarters, feeling a little naughty she let her mind wander the ship and picked a random unsuspecting trouble maker, only being a child she started sending horrific visions and she set it up to where nothing could trace it back to her, Mia wouldn't do this very often, she also had to be careful since she didn't want to lay blame on other telepaths and with it being a child she kept it minor but still sent him into a bit of shock.

The boy was immediately rushed in, he was curled in the fetal position and his eyes wide open, he was talking about a monster that was told only in stories from his home planet, the doctors blamed it on a nightmare or a daymare, he would be monitored overnight.

The boy eventually woke up screaming, nurses came in to try and settle him down but was unsuccessful, he kept shouting that 'the monster was coming to get me'

Vul'cak was well enough to get out of medical bay, and he takes his son to his apartment. Then he talks about his past experiences, especially the risk he took for his former captain, Captain Pike.

Mia eventually released her mental hold on the boy and he soon recovered, Mia had returned to the ship to see that all was well so she went to her quarters to catch up on much needed paperwork, that was the only downfall about being an admiral, so much paperwork, Michael would probably never have to worry about this much since he prefers his current rank as captain, with Mia on board they could almost get away from most orders unless they were urgent enough that they couldn't be avoided like if the Borg were to all of a sudden were to attack earth then gunslinger would be there fighting like everyone else (spoiler alert).

Vul'cak says, "I was allowed to beam down to visit my parents, but I refused to. I stayed with my brother and I managed to convince him, though he took it out on me. But I had no regrets because the Ambassador was saved. These experiences may help you when you are assigned to the next Enterprise."

Mia had almost finished her paperwork when someone from the crew of Gunslinger came in and asked if they could talk, Mia nodded so the crewmen took a seat and began to talk about the newly transferred Vulcan, the Enterprise D and other random stuff

His father replies, "In due time, S'pock. We have not spent enough time with each other. Would you be interested in visiting Earth? You were close in returning to it, when the Borg cube attempt to destroy the planet."
S'pock asks, "Where would you take me?"
Vul'cak replies, "Yosemite National Park."

Mia and the crewman finish talking and they go about their business, out takes Mia several days to complete her paperwork. By that time the gunslinger crew was ordered back to the ship to pick up the slack of the enterprise, Mia and Michael were happy to take their orders.

S'pock says, "I never had this much fun since the years betwen 2314 and 2325. Marshmallows were delicious, especially after toasting over the camp fire. Let's do it again, Father. These several nights were great, but we need to make reservations next time."
Vul'cak was pleased to hear his son say this, and he says, "I am happy you enjoyed yourself in the past several days. I am able to enjoy camp this time than on Stardate 8454.1. I would gladly do with you again."
Upon returning to the Starbase, he learns that the crew from Gunslinger are ordered back to the ship. Vul'cak gives S'pock the Vulcan salute, "As a Gunslinger crew member, I must report to Amelia Evenstar. I hope I do not have to experience Stardate 5928.5 again. It is time I give her my experiences."
S'pock returns the salute, "That Stardate is one of my favourite stories. You did not agree with your brother, didn't you? That he was not interfering."

Once the crew was back on board Mia made an announcement.
"This is the Admiral speaking, As of right now the Gunslinger D is to take on the roll of where the Enterprise left off until another Enterprise is commissioned which will be in about five years, as you know some of the Enterprise crew have joined us for that time, make them feel at home. Our first mission will be an interesting one. That is all." She said as the bridge crew arrived and fired up the engines

"In that final mission, I heard everything my brother said. Before he came out, I was kicked near our hearts, and I managed to call my Captain. I managed to get Bones to get Chapel, before I start my self-healing process." Vul'cak says, as he boards the U.S.S. Gunslinger. S'pock says, "In the meantime, I will visit my mother on Vulcan. It will take a few years to construct a new Enterprise, and you can be sure I will be on it. Captain Picard will not want to leave me behind."

"we'll be patrolling along the cardassian border, there have been problems there with pirates and cardassians on a neutral colony and that asked us for help." Michael says walking out of his ready room, Mia nods as ops scans the area for any ships or life signs of sorts so far nothing seemed out of place
"something isn't right, I feel it." Mia says, Michael was worried because when Mia says something wasn't right it never is.
