It was the kind of sun that placed a depressing mood on everything. It made you sad, just something about the harsh way it sizzled down onto the pavement just made you, simply put, sad. The smell of waste completed the scene, and the old garbage cans littered the alley. The sky was an angry red colour, the colour of a sunny day. A boy walked home in this harsh sun. He didn't wear his sunglasses today but then he is a Vulcan and his double eyelids protect his eyes from the harsh sun.
