Melissa was thrown off her seat as a Jem'Hadar battle cruiser fired yet another torpedo, and she struggles to get back on the seat of her Vulcan fighter. The ship's computer reported shields are offline, and she groans.
Before the battle cruiser can fire another torpedo, it was destroyed, and Melissa was beamed aboard the Enterprise-E.

S'pock walks to Melissa and offers his hand. "My name is S'pock, son of Vul'cak, son of Keras. Spirk, inform Captain Picard that our guest is safe and sound."

Spirk walks to the bridge and informs Captain Picard that the passenger has arrived safely in the transporter room.

S'pock asks Melissa, "Are you hurt?" Melissa replies, "No I am not hurt. I have a letter for you." and passes a closed paper to him. He sends her to Captain Picard before he goes to his quarters. After he has settled down, he opens the letter and reads it.
"Dear S'pock, report to Vulcan immediately. Love, father."

Spirk returns to the transporter room and brings Melissa to see Picard. "May I know why you were flying to the Enterprise urgently? May I have your name please?"

Melissa replies, "My name is Melissa Jones, descendant of Doctor Miranda Jones. I was flying urgently to the Enterprise because Captain Vul'cak instructed me to deliver a letter to his son, S'pock. Unfortunately, the USS Gunslinger was in Dominion territory, and that is the reason the Jem'Hader ship was after my Vulcan Fighter. Thank you for coming to my rescue, Captain Picard. I am a member of the Gunslinger."

Picard shows Melissa to a guest room and helps her to settle down. "If you need anything, call the Bridge."
Spirk goes to S'pock's quarters and knocks on the door.

Melissa thanks Picard for bringing her to the guest room and says, "Yes, Captain. I will remember that. May I have Doctor Crusher please?"
S'pock opens the door and lets Spirk into his quarters.

Picard nods, "I understand, Lieutenant Jones. I will get Doctor Crusher and Counselor Troi to your room. You are our guest. Feel free to explore the ship, after you have rested." He leaves the room.
Spirk closes the door behind him, and asks, "Are you willing to share the information with me?"

S'pock enters his quarters to find Spirk in mediation. He says, "Let us get ready for departure, Spirk. The Bridge will let me know when the Gunslinger contacts Enterprise." He goes to shower.

1 hour later, S'pock was called to the bridge and he sees his father on the viewscreen. "Captain Vul'cak. We have set course for Vulcan."
His father replies, "Very good. On Vulcan, you must go to the family house immediately. Bring Spirk with you. Captain Vul'cak out."

Spirk entered the Bridge and heard Vul'cak's reply. "I am honoured to be coming along."
Rimu reports, "We will be orbiting Vulcan in half an hour. The USS Gunslinger is in Spacedock."

S'pock turns to Rimu. "Thank you, Lieutenant Rimu." He turns to Picard, "Captain, are you going to dock the Enterprise in Spacedock? She was damaged in the Borg attack."

Picard turns to S'pock. "You are right. The Enterprise should be docked in Spacedock, so that she can be repaired. Data, contact Vulcan Orbital Control and seek permission to dock."
