Zira noticed the lights and was lightsaber ready, Captain Picard had ordered a scan. Zira headed off to sickbay and saw Spirk in bad shape.
"I know this.......... Pan, I don't think she knows the Enterprise isn't part of the rebellion."
"The Rebellion?" Troy says
"Yeah the only force that was equal to the force of the empire, Until I came along the Empire was actually loosing, after me we pretty much beat them back."
Troy nodded and stayed close to Zira

S'pock says, "My father has seen this in his brother. He mind-melded McCoy and Scotty for the instructions, since he beamed down to the planet with his captain. Spirk's brain is gone. Spirk's Vulcan physiology limits what you can do, Dr Crusher. His body is more dependent on that tremendous brain for life support. The moment we find it we must restore it to his body, or we lose him. La Forge, Dr. Crusher, if you do not mind me instructing you, I will instruct you on what to do. We have twenty-four hours left. My father has passed the knowledge to me via Vulcan mind-meld."

Pan is unaware her ship is leaving an ion trail for others to follow. She returns to the second Death Star and Darth Vader booms, "I find your careless disturbing, Shadow Hand. You are leaving a trail for the Rebellion to follow. Show me your cargo." She obediently showed him the cargo with the power of the Force, and he continues, "Great work, Pan."

La Forge asks, "Why do you need Dr Crusher and me?" S'pock replies, "Spirk needs to get his brain back, and to get his brain back, he needs to go to the thief's base. In this state, he cannot control his own movements. We need to control his movements, and to get him to the thief. A remote control is needed."
Dr Crusher says, "I do not like my patients to die. I will do everything to save them."
La Forge nods, "Very well. What do we have to do?"
S'pock warns, "You may be overwhelmed by powerful Vulcan emotions." Then he mind-melds them.

Pan replies, "Sorry, Master. I will not be so careless again." At Vader's command, she took her cargo into the training room where the Sith trainees were busy training. When she and Vader came in, the Sith trainees paused.
"Greetings, Lord Vader." intoned the Sith trainees.
At one end of the room was a machine with five helmet-like collars, and a stand with a dome. Pan goes to the stand and the dome opens. She places the brain into the dome and then it closes.
Vader booms, "Shadow Hand trainees, your real training begins now. Wear your collars and your knowledge will increase." Five trainees obediently go to the collars and wear them.

The Enterprise comes across an Imperial Star Destroyer.
"That's Vader's ship." Zira says
"Open hailing frequency." Captain Picard says
"Your frequency wont work, we use a much higher band, BB I need you. We need to get a hold of that ship." Zira says as BB comes crawling out from Zira's sleeve, he goes over to the tactical station and does what he can. BB eventually relays everything to contact the ISD Executor.
"This is Captain Jean Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise, Please respond."
"They aren't gonna answer just like that. I am Lady Zira of the Imperial army, Right hand of Emperor Palpatine, You are interfering with a diplomatic mission that the Emperor himself has given."
Now they wait.

The meld ends, and the two gasp, as if they were out of breath. S'pock says, "Forgive me. Emotional transferrance is an effect of the mind meld. Do you understand what needs to be done? We do not have much time."
La Forge replies, "Yes. I do. Let's begin, Dr Crusher."
Fifteen hours later, La Forge and Dr Crusher looks at S'pock. S'pock nods, "Excellent work, La Forge, Dr Crusher. Spirk is ready to walk." The remote control was ready, and the Vulcan holds it, then he presses a red button.

"lady Zira!? We have not heard from you in some time we thought the rebels got you. Are you captured? Do you require assistance?" One of the executor members says
"no, I'm fine, my shuttle however may have been sabotaged, I am the only survivor next to BB. I also found my diplomatic mission, I now know why I was sent here. we also require a certain item that was taken form here." Zira says clearly not happy
"I'm sorry my lady but lord vader is using it to train his personal assassins."
"you can tell him its interfering with my mission, he we was there when it was given."
"I'll relay the message, he won't be happy."
"who do you really fear me or him?"
The executor was silent as the member personally went to deliver the message to lord vader.

S'pock comes to the bridge with Spirk, La Forge, and Dr Crusher and heard everything from the executor member. He says, "Time left to us, eight hours and forty minutes." Looking at the viewscreen, he continues, "Ten Galaxy-Class starships can fit that ship. This is where Spirk's brain is? I wonder why this Lord Vader is using the brain to............wait, Vulcans can use psychokinesis. Not all Vulcans can use psychokinesis. Why do they need Vulcan's psychokinesis ability?"

The Shadow Hand trainees started using the Force as soon as they had finished with the 'Teacher'. They discovered they had become stronger in the Force and discovered each of them were striving to be worth of the title 'Shadow Hand'. One of them says, "Lord Vader, Lady Zira is nearby in a ship. She is surrounded by Rebels. Do we rescue her?"
Lord Vader booms, "Yes. We must rescue her from the Rebels. Now, you must beat Pan in the Battle of the Force and if you can beat her, you will become the next Shadow Hand. Use your new knowledge against her." Then he leaves the training room.

"Either their bridge crew is horribly inefficient or they are dawdling. If I have to, with your permission Captain, take a small group of over there and pick things up personally." Zira says to Captain Picard
"Could it be dangerous?" He ask
"Without me......... yes." Zira says
"Take 3 with you. Worf, Riker, Data go with her."
They nod and head to the transporter room, Zira follows. They then transport over to the Executor, so far everything was clear, but Zira knew better.

S'pock begins to get worried, and says, "I worry they may apply trellium-D to the brain. My ancestors nearly died, after being exposed to trellium-D not long after mining. If it is applied before Spirk gets it back to his body, he could become insane and eventually, death."
Dr Crusher replies, "This Lord Vader is using a Vulcan brain to train his personal assassins? I will not allow my patients to die. No worry. I will perform on him as soon as he is brought back to the Enterprise."

Pan stands in the middle of the room, and waits. She says, "You heard our master. If you can beat me, you will be the next Shadow Hand."
The trainees who had wore the collars, wield the Force and try to choke her. But she resists their increased strength and shoves them away from her easily.
Lord Vader beckoned some of the Storm Troopers to follow him. He orders them, "Find the intruders and kill them, except for Lady Zira. I want her alive."
The Storm Troopers acknowledged the order, and start searching the ship for the intruders. A executor member met Vader and relays the message.
"A certain item was taken from the Rebels, my lord. I told them you are training your personal assassins, but it is interfering with Lady Zira's mission. She said you were there when the mission was given." The executor member tells Vader. Suddenly he finds himself being hoisted and he gasps, "Lady Zira said they need the item to be returned."
"I will find Lady Zira and tell her what she must do." Vader booms, then he flung the member against the wall. He leaves the member.

Zira leads Riker, Data, and Worf down the corridor, they run into a wall of storm troopers, as ordered they fire upon the Enterprise crew, Zira stopped the blasts and protected them.
"Stand down, They are not rebels." Zira orders

S'pock closes his eyes and scans the Imperial Star Destroyer. He discovers where the brain is being kept.
S'pock says, "It is logical I go to Riker's coordinates with Spirk." Picard nods, and S'pock goes to the Transporter Room with Spirk. They beamed, and arrived just behind the away team.

Vader appears and booms, "Do as she says." At once, the troopers stopped firing, and he booms, "My master will not forgive me if he was here. For you, I never felt this different since my wife was killed. I will not let you take the cargo, Lady Zira. Why is this cargo important to you? Since you are as strong in the Force as I am, let's fight each other using the Force. Master Dooku and Master Yoda."

Despite of the extra strength in the Force, the trainees dould not beat Pan. Pan sniggers, "You cannot beat me. I am the Shadow Hand." The others were groaning as they nurse their injuries.
Vader booms, "You know where the brain is, Pointy-Ears, go. Lady Zira, you have made your decision."

"In time, the Federation will know, everyone will know the truth about everything." Zira says going with S'pock

S'pock takes out his communicator and tunes into a frequency. He asks, "Spirk, I know where you are. It will not be long." He goes to search for Spirk's brain.
Eventually, he reaches the room. He enters to find a woman standing a complex control panel.
"What exactly are you doing, Spirk?" S'pock asks.

Spirk replies via comm, "S'pock? S'pock, there is a definite pleasurable experience connected with the hearing of your voice. I do not know where I am. My medulla oblongata is hard at work apparently pumping adrenaline."
Pan smiles, "You have come for the brain, haven't you, Vulcan? I am Pan, and I will not let you take the brain back. These trainees are strong in the Force, and with the brain as the Teacher, they are stronger. But they cannot beat me, despite the numbers. Exactly five hours and forty eight minutes left, Vulcans."

S'pock replies, ""Pumping adrenaline, you say? I can sense the heighten power in the Shadow Hand trainees." Turning to Pan, he says, "You are right. We have exactly five hours and forty eight minutes left to put the brain back into his body. Unless you give us the brain now, he will die before the five hours are up. Putting the brain is a complex process."

Pan says, "Very well, Lady Zira. If you weren't the Master's pet, I would have refused. But since he is fond of you, the brain shall be returned." She goes to the 'Teacher's Table' and the dome opens. Turning her back on the Vulcans, she takes something out of her clothing and drips something into the brain. Then she takes the brain and hands it to S'pock.
"Help me, S'pock! I need Dr Crusher immediately. Something has just been poured into my brain. Help me, S'pock! Help me!" Spirk says, on S'pock's comm.

S'pock does not like to do it, but his friend's life is at stake. He read Pan's thoughts, and staggers backwards, nearly dropping the remote control and the brain. He says, "This needs Dr Crusher's attention immediately. If it is not acted upon immediately, Spirk will end up like my ancestor's friend." He breaks off the contact, and speaks into the comm, "S'pock to Enterprise."
"Captain Picard here. Go ahead, Mister S'pock."
"S'pock to Sickbay. Emergency! I am beaming immediately. Spirk needs medical attention immediately."
"Prepare to energise. I will alert Dr Crusher. Picard out."
S'pock tells Pan, "You will not like it when I show my emotions. I will deal with you later." Then he and Spirk were beamed off the Imperial ship.
On the Enterprise, La Forge takes the controller and 'orders' Spirk to go to Sickbay. In Sickbay, S'pock talks to Crusher as he hands the brain. "Treatment has to be provided quickly, otherwise he faces permanent damage." He instructs her.

Blinding bolts of energy, evil lightning, shoot from Pan's hands at Zira. She fires the bolts of energy at such speed and power that she expects Zira to shrink before them, with her knees buckling. The outpouring of bolts from Pan's fingers actually increases in intensity, the sound screaming through the room.
The other trainees watched keenly upon on the battle, keeping well clear of the intense lightning bolts.
