Transphasic Torpedo Launchers are torpedo based weapons available for all faction starships. They have a 90° firing arc. Transphasic Torpedoes are primarily used by the Breen and the Hirogen.
Transphasic Torpedo Launchers weapons are not available to players before Mk VIII.
Transphasic weapons have a 40% bonus to shield penetration power, though the latest patch has increased bleedthrough to 80% for Transphasic Mines (except those launched by the Breen Transphasic Cluster Torpedo).
